Is Each Person Matters part of your theology?

In a church, the value that Each Person Matters could apply in a lot of different, practical ways. It might inspire you to take a look at your system for tracking visitors. Or how you keep in touch with your core members. You might even assess your giving and stewardship programs: are you treating each donor as if they matter to the organization?

Churches an other faith communities, though, have a particular need to address this topic. In most faith traditions, there is a central tenet that each human being has sacred worth, that we are created by God and are formed in God's image. In that case, each person really matters.

In the United Methodist Church, the stated mission is:

To make Disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world

Notice the word disciples is plural.
